Transit Advisory Committee (TAC)

The Transit Advisory Committee (TAC) advises the County Manager and staff on the implementation of the transit element of the Master Transportation Plan and on issues related to transit in Arlington, including Metrorail, Metrobus, Virginia Railway Express (VRE), Arlington Transit (ART) and STAR.

Committee Meetings

The TAC usually meets every two months. Meetings begin with a public comment period, and the public is welcome to attend. Meeting notes will be posted when approved by the committee.

Committee meetings are held from 7:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. on Microsoft Teams (through the Microsoft Teams desktop app or on your computer's browser) or by phone. The link and the phone number to join meetings are located at the top of the agenda for each meeting date.

Transit Accessibility Subcommittee

The Transit Accessibility Subcommittee reviews accessibility issues including access to transit vehicles, stops and stations and the specialized transit services provided by Metrorail, Metrobus, ART, STAR and MetroAccess.
