June 10, 2026, 6:30 p.m., walking tour of Ballston.
All are welcome to join the Arlington County Pedestrian Advisory Committee (PAC) on a walking tour of Ballston. This will be the first walking meeting of the year. These events are social and informative, and put a lot of experienced eyes on the street. The gathering point will be the Ballston - Marymount U. Metro Plaza near the Commuter Store. Look for bright yellow vests and please wear yours if you have one.
Tentative itinerary: Ballston Wetland Park; 4600 Fairfax Drive (the Holiday Inn site); Welburn Park and the Ellipse; and, time permitting, Ballston Quarter and the pedestrian bridge over Wilson Blvd.
Meetings of the Pedestrian Advisory Committee are generally held on the second Wednesday of every month from 7 to 9 p.m. The meetings are open to the public.
Unless otherwise noted, sessions will be virtual, with links for access and agenda on the committee page in advance.
