C2E2 Energy Committee
The Energy Committee is a subcommittee of the Climate Change, Energy and Environment Commission (C2E2). The Energy Committee advises the County Manager on Community Energy Plan implementation. The Community Energy Plan is a long-term vision for transforming how Arlington generates, uses, and distributes energy, with an overall goal of carbon neutral by 2050.

Meetings
Following the State of Virginia's Electronic Meetings Bill, the C2E2 Commission will resume in-person (hybrid) meetings beginning September 2022. The Energy Committee will be typically meeting in-person (hybrid) and occasionally virtually (login and call-in information provided below) up to three (x3) times per calendar year. Please visit this page for meeting updates and changes, and refer to an upcoming meeting’s agenda for the latest information on meeting time and date. The committee sets aside the first few minutes of each meeting for general public comment and encourages residents to provide comments on the community’s energy issues and opportunities. Note: individuals may speak for three minutes; those representing an organization may speak for five minutes.

Please Note: Meetings will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The hybrid meetings allow participation either in person or virtually via Microsoft Teams. The in-person portion will take place in the meeting rooms listed below at the Bozman Government Center (2100 Clarendon Blvd., Arlington, VA 22201).
April 8 is currently the only meeting scheduled as virtual-only.
