On July 9, 2026, Adame Consulting LLC contacted Arlington County staff to request access to the transmission room and the roof, indicating only that they intended to drill a hole in the penthouse wall on behalf of Radio Arlington. There was no other basic information about the nature of the request or any proposed additional work in the transmission room.
The County has never heard directly from Radio Arlington. With continued missing necessary information, and only one week's notice before Radio Arlington is required to start broadcasting, the County is working to determine appropriate next steps as quickly as is reasonable for all involved.
