REPORTS

WEAPONS VIOLATION (Significant), 2026-09150228, 200 block of S. Glebe Road. At approximately 11:52 p.m. on September 15, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business wearing a ski mask and began acting disorderly, prompting employees to call police. Responding officers observed an individual matching the description of the suspect exiting the business and took him into custody. During the course of the investigation, a firearm and ammunition were recovered from the suspect, and he was determined to be a convicted felon. Cameron Payton, 26, of Bristow, Va. was arrested and charged with Possession of a Firearm/Ammunition by a Convicted Felon (x2) and Wearing a Mask in a Public Place. He was held without bond.
