REPORTS
UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2026-05030109, 1900 block of S. Eads Street. At approximately 1:50 p.m. on May 3, police were dispatched to the report of unlawful entry. Upon arrival, it was determined the female suspect and the male suspect allegedly made entry into a vacant apartment. Responding officers located the suspects at the scene and took them into custody. While in custody, the male suspect provided false identifying information to officers, and it was determined he was wanted out of other jurisdictions. Brenda Villanueva Flores, 28, of No Fixed Address, was arrested and charged with Unlawful Entry. Wesley Gilbert, 39, of No Fixed Address, was arrested and charged with Unlawful Entry, Giving False Identity to a Law Enforcement Officer and served with the outstanding warrants. He was held without bond.
BURGLARY (late), 2026-05010012, 1800 block of N. Quinn Street. At approximately 12:50 a.m. on May 1, police were dispatched to the late report of a larceny. It was determined the male suspect made entry into the secured garage of a residential building and stole tools before subsequently fleeing the scene in a vehicle described as a black SUV. The suspect is described as a Black male wearing a black jacket and a hat. The investigation is ongoing.
