REPORTS
MALICIOUS WOUNDING BY CAUSTIC SUBSTANCE, 2026-05210172, 5200 block of Yorktown Boulevard. At approximately 3:32 p.m. on May 21, police were dispatched to Yorktown High School for the report of an assault. Upon arrival, it was determined the juvenile male suspect, and a juvenile female witness were on school property when they became involved in a verbal dispute during which the suspect discharged pepper spray, spraying the juvenile female victim, who was a bystander. The victim sustained minor injuries consistent with pepper spray exposure and did not require medics. Responding officers took the suspect into custody on scene. Petitions were obtained for the juvenile suspect for Malicious Wounding By Caustic Substance.
ROBBERY, 2026-05210177, 4300 block of Langston Boulevard. At approximately 3:50 p.m. on May 21, police were dispatched to the report of an assault. Upon arrival, it was determined the juvenile female victim was outside with the two juvenile female suspects, who are known to her. The suspects began yelling at the victim before stealing her purse and a physical altercation ensued, causing the victim to fall to the ground. The suspects subsequently fled the scene. The victim sustained minor injuries and did not require medical attention. The investigation into the circumstances of the incident is ongoing.
INDECENT EXPOSURE, 2026-05210002, 200 block of S. Glebe Road. At approximately 12:05 a.m. on May 21, police were dispatched to the report of public intoxication. It was determined approximately 15 minutes prior, the two male victims were outside a business when they observed the male suspect expose himself before fleeing the scene. The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5'4", 130-140 pounds wearing a tan t-shirt, dark shorts and a black baseball cap. The investigation is ongoing.
ATTEMPTED UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2026-05210017, 4200 block of N. Pershing Drive. At approximately 2:30 a.m. on May 21 police were dispatched to the report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, it was determined the two male victims were inside their residence when the Suspect One knocked on the door and asked to be let in. One victim confronted the suspect and asked the suspect to leave. The victim subsequently heard a noise and upon further investigation, observed Suspect Two attempting to open a window. The victim advised he would be calling police and the suspects fled the scene on foot. Responding officers canvassed the area for the suspects yielding negative results. Suspect One is described as a heavy-set Black male with facial hair, approximately 40 years old wearing gray clothing. Suspect Two is described as an unknown race male, approximately 40 years old wearing a white hat and a red shirt. The investigation is ongoing.
