REPORTS
ROBBERY, 2026-05160091, 4100 block of Columbia Pike. At approximately 11:30 a.m. on May 16, police were dispatched to the report of an assault. Upon arrival, it was determined the male victim was inside a business paying for merchandise when the male suspect approached him. As the victim collected his change from the cashier, the suspect stole the undisclosed amount of cash from the victim. When the victim confronted him, the suspect threatened the victim with scissors and charged towards him before he subsequently fled the scene. Responding officers located the suspect in the area and took him into custody. During the course of the investigation, suspected narcotics were recovered. Mohamed Roble, 32, of Alexandria, Va., was arrested, and charged with Robbery and Possession of Schedule I/II Controlled Substance. He was held without bond.
