REPORTS
MALICIOUS WOUNDING BY MOB, 2026-05160226, 300 block of N. Bryan Street. At approximately 11:09 p.m. on May 16, police were dispatched to the report of an assault. Upon arrival, it was determined the group of eight victims were exiting a residence when the four known male suspects, wearing ski masks and armed with what appeared to be firearms, approached them. One suspect struck one of the victims and a struggled ensued during which the suspects threatened and struck the victims with the firearms. The suspects subsequently fled the scene in a black sedan. Two male victims sustained non-life threatening injuries and were treated and released on scene by medics. The investigation into the circumstances of the incident is ongoing.
ROBBERY, 2026-05170201, 300 block of N. Manchester Street. At approximately 9:43 p.m. on May 17, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined the male victim and Suspect One arranged to meet at the location for a previously agreed upon sale of clothing items. The victim gave then Suspect One an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect subsequently entered a nearby vehicle. When the victim confronted the suspect at the vehicle, Suspect Two, who was the driver, implied a firearm before fleeing the scene at a high rate of speed. No injuries were reported. Suspect One is described as a light-skinned Black male, approximately 18-19 years old, 5’4” with curly hair. Suspect Two is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 25-30 years old. The investigation is ongoing.
ROBBERY, 2026-05180019, 2000 block of 2nd Street S. At approximately 2:13 a.m. on May 18, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined the male victim was outside when the two male suspects approached and demanded his belongings. The suspects then struck the victim with what appeared to be firearms before fleeing the scene with the victim’s wallet and phone. The victim sustained minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital. The two suspects are described as thin-build Black males, approximately 6’5” wearing all black clothing. The investigation is ongoing.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2026-05150110, 1200 block of N. Lincoln Street. On May 15, police received an online report for a late unlawful entry. It was determined at approximately 5:50 a.m. on May 6, the female victim was inside her residence when she heard a noise and upon further investigation, observed the male suspect inside the home. She confronted the suspect, who subsequently fled the scene. The suspect is described as a thin-build Black male, approximately 5’9”, 170 pounds wearing all gray clothing. The investigation is ongoing.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2026-05160129, 1900 block of N. Woodrow Street. At approximately 3:22 p.m. on May 16, police were dispatched to the report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, it was determined approximately 20 minutes prior, the male victim was inside his residence when he observed the male suspect enter the home. The victim confronted the suspect who subsequently fled the scene. The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6’5”, wearing a red t-shirt, blue jeans and tennis shoes. The investigation is ongoing.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING (late), 2026-05180024, 2900 block of S. Quincy Street. At approximately 2:36 a.m. on May 18, police were dispatched to the late report of an assault. It was determined between 10:15 p.m. on May 17 and 2:36 a.m. on May 18, the male victim and male suspect, who are known to each other, were outside when they became involved in a verbal dispute during which the suspect assaulted the victim. The suspect then fled the scene. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital. The investigation into the circumstances of the incident is ongoing.
ROBBERY (late), 2026-05150085/2026-05150094, 1500 block of Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 10:36 a.m. on May 15, police were dispatched to the late report of a larceny. It was determined on April 23, the two male suspects entered the business, collected merchandise and exited without payment. Security personnel confronted the suspects outside the business during which one suspect displayed what appeared to be a firearm and made threatening statements before fleeing the scene. No injuries were reported. On May 14, the same two suspects entered the business, collected merchandise and exited without payment. Security personnel confronted them in a parking garage and they made threatening statements before fleeing the scene. No injuries were reported. The suspects are described as tall Black males wearing all black clothing. The investigation is ongoing.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY (late), 2026-05150065, 3900 block of 5th Street N. At approximately 9:04 a.m. on May 15, police were dispatched to the late report of trespassing. It was determined the suspects(s) made entry into the victims’ unoccupied residence, caused property damage and fled the scene. There is no suspect description(s). The investigation is ongoing.
INDECENT EXPOSURE (late), 2026-05150076, 800 block of S. Greenbrier Street. At approximately 10:04 a.m. on May 15, police were dispatched to the report of disorderly conduct. It was determined at approximately 1:45 p.m. on May 14, the male suspect exposed himself outside of a business before fleeing the scene. The suspect is described as a Black male wearing a yellow shirt and black pants. The investigation is ongoing.
