REPORTS
UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2026-05080231, 2600 block of N. Upshur Street. At approximately 10:09 p.m. on May 8, police were dispatched to the report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, it was determined the male victim was inside his home when he observed the male suspect allegedly attempt to make entry through a secured door to his home before fleeing the scene on foot. Responding officers located an individual matching the description of the suspect in the 2500 block of N. Upshur Street. Officers issued commands to the suspect, who attempted to run from the officers before being taken into custody. The suspect sustained minor injuries and did not require medical attention. Russell Burger, 38, of Ridgewood, NY was arrested and charged with Unlawful Entry and Obstruction of Justice.
PEEPING, 2026-05110019, 600 block of S. Walter Reed Drive. At approximately 3:08 a.m. on May 11, police were dispatched to the report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, it was determined the victims were inside their home when they received an alert and observed the male suspect running outside away from a window of their home. Responding officers canvassed the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as an unknown race male wearing a white t-shirt and a dark-colored jacket. The investigation is ongoing.
