REPORTS
ROBBERY, 2026-03180117, 1200 block of S. Hayes Street. At approximately 2:13 p.m. on March 18, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the store and asked an employee to view merchandise. When the employee unlocked a merchandise case, the suspect shoved the employee, stole merchandise and fled the scene on foot. No injuries were reported. Responding officers canvassed the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 25 years old, wearing all black clothing. The investigation is ongoing.
