REPORTS
BURGLARY, 2026-03170006, 5100 block of Langston Boulevard. At approximately 12:44 a.m. on March 17, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary alarm. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect forced entry to the business by breaking a glass door. The suspect concealed merchandise in a bag and subsequently fled the scene on foot. Responding officers conducted a canvass of the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a White male with blonde hair, wearing all black clothing and a face covering. The investigation is ongoing.
ROBBERY, 2026-03160031, 1500 block of N. Queen Street. At approximately 6:55 a.m. on March 16, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined the male victim was walking towards his vehicles when he discovered items in his vehicle in disarray and an unknown male suspect inside his other vehicle. The victim confronted the suspect, who then brandished a power tool from the victim’s vehicle and a struggle ensued. The victim regained control of the power tool as the suspect began to flee the scene. The suspect then displayed pepper spray before fleeing the scene on foot. No injuries were reported. The suspect is described as Black male, approximately 5’3” tall, wearing dark clothing and a black jacket. The investigation is ongoing.
ROBBERY (Late), 2026-03130202, 800 block of 22nd Street S. At approximately 9:23 p.m. on March 13, police were dispatched to the report of trouble unknown. Upon arrival, it was determined that the male victim was riding his bike in the area of 23rd Street S. when two male suspects approached him. The suspects assaulted the victim and stole his wallet before fleeing the scene in a vehicle described as a black Honda. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and left the area to call the police. Upon police and medic arrival, the victim was transported to a local hospital for evaluation. The suspects are described as two Black males. The investigation is ongoing.
MISSILE INTO OCCUPIED DWELLING, 2026-03130188, 1700 block of N. Troy Street. At approximately 7:50 p.m. on March 13, police were dispatched to the report of destruction of property. Upon arrival, it was determined the female victim was inside her residence when she heard a loud noise and observed a broken window and a rock on the floor. The victim did not report any injuries. Responding officers recovered evidence that a rock was thrown at the victim’s window. The preliminary investigation indicates a group of juvenile male suspects threw rocks at the victim’s window and subsequently fled the scene on foot. The investigation into the circumstances of this incident is ongoing.
