REPORTS
ROBBERY, 2026-06200222, 1200 block of S. Hayes Street. At approximately 10:02 p.m. on June 20, police were dispatched to the Pentagon City Metro station for the report of a fight. Upon arrival, it was determined the male victim was in 900 block of Army Navy Drive when he was approached by the male suspect who asked him for cash. When the victim declined, the suspect allegedly stole cash that fell from the victim's bag and struck the victim before fleeing the scene on foot. The victim followed the suspect into the Pentagon City Metro station and upon police arrival, the suspect was taken into custody. Mitchell Harris, 40, of Alexandria, Va., was arrested and charged with Robbery.
BURGLARY (Late), 2026-06170037, 2700 block of S. Glebe Road. At approximately 8:21 a.m. on June 17, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny. Upon arrival, it was determined that on June 11, the male suspect allegedly made entry into the closed business, stole vehicle parts and subsequently fled the scene. On June 18, police were dispatched to the report of a trespasser in the 2700 block of S. Glebe Road. Responding officers located the suspect at the scene. During a search of the vehicle, vehicle parts were discovered. Michael Larmie, 48, of Arlington, Va., was arrested for Burglary and Petit Larceny.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING BY CAUSTIC SUBSTANCE (Late), 2026-06200123, 3400 block of Fairfax Drive. At approximately 1:40 p.m. on June 20, police were dispatched to the late report of an assault. It was determined that on June 19, at approximately 7:40 p.m., the victim was walking in the area when he was approached by the suspect who discharged pepper spray, spraying the male victim. The suspect subsequently fled the scene in a vehicle described as a black SUV. The investigation into the circumstances of this incident is ongoing.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING (Late), 2026-06200053, 2900 block of Columbia Pike. At approximately 4:57 a.m. on June 20, police responded to INOVA Alexandria Hospital for the late report of an assault. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim self-reported to the hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening stab wound. Limited details regarding the incident were provided and the location of the incident could not be determined. The investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY (Late), 2026-06200110, 3100 block of 10th Street N. At approximately 12:47 p.m. on June 20, police were dispatched to the late report of a burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined that on June 19 at approximately 11:18 p.m., the male suspect made entry into the closed business, stole cash from the register and subsequently fled the scene. The suspect is described as a Black male wearing a black hoodie and white shorts. The investigation is ongoing.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY (Series) (Late), 2026-06210048, 700 block of S. Florida Street. At approximately 4:19 a.m. on June 21, police were dispatched to the late report of destruction of property. During the course of the investigation, officers located nine vehicles with their driver’s side windows broken. A witness observed the suspects attempt to force entry into a tenth vehicle and flee the scene when they were unsuccessful. The victim vehicles vary in make and model. Suspect One is described as a thin-build Black or Hispanic male, approximately 18-24 years old, approximately 5'8" tall, wearing all black clothing and a face covering. Suspects Two and Three are described as thin-build males, approximately 18-24 years old, approximately 6'0"-6'2" tall, wearing all black clothing and face coverings. The investigation is ongoing.
ROBBERY, 2026-06190060, 1200 block of S. Hayes Street. At approximately 7:18 a.m. on June 19, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business, concealed merchandise in a bag and began to exit the store without payment. When the suspect was confronted by an employee, the suspect made threatening statements before subsequently fleeing the scene with the stolen merchandise. No injuries were reported. A lookout was broadcast, and responding officers conducted a canvass of the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 30-40 years old, wearing a dark-colored jacket and pants and black shoes. The investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY (late), 2026-06180122,1100 block of S. Thomas Street. At approximately 11:46 a.m. on June 18, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined that between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., the suspect(s) forced entry into the victim's residence and closet, causing property damage, stole a safe and subsequently fled the scene. There is no suspect description(s). The investigation is ongoing.
ATTEMPTED ROBBERY, 2026-06160029, 3400 block of Washington Boulevard. At approximately 6:40 a.m. on June 16, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined the female suspect entered the business, concealed merchandise in a bag and exited the store without payment. When confronted by an employee, the suspect attempted to discharge pepper spray but was unsuccessful. The suspect subsequently fled the scene on foot. The stolen items were recovered. No injuries were reported. The suspect is described as a White female, approximately 30 years old, approximately 5'0" tall and 150 pounds, wearing dark clothing and sunglasses. The investigation is ongoing.
