REPORTS
PEEPING, 2026-05290266, 4200 block of Columbia Pike. At approximately 9:00 p.m. on May 29, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined the female victim was inside her residence when she heard a noise and observed the male suspect allegedly peering through a window and attempting to make entry through a door and a window before fleeing the scene. A lookout was broadcast and a responding officer located an individual matching the description of the suspect in the area and took him into custody. Jose Montero Santamaria, 49, Arlington, Va. was arrested and charged with Peeping, Attempted Burglary and Public Intoxication.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2026-05290269, 1000 block of N. Stafford Street. At approximately 9:31 p.m. on May 29, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined a witness observed the male suspect and female suspect allegedly make entry into a vacant residence in the area. Responding officers established a perimeter and located the suspects inside the home and took them into custody. Mary Farris, 47, of No Fixed Address, was arrested and charged with Unlawful Entry. Eric Jamison, 66, of Arlington, Va. was arrested and charged with Unlawful Entry.
SHOTS HEARD, 2026-06010030, 300 block of S. Harrison Street. At approximately 3:14 a.m. on June 1, police were dispatched to the report of shots heard. Responding officers established a perimeter and canvassed the area for victims and property damage with the assistance of a police helicopter, yielding negative results. There was no evidence recovered of shots being fired. The investigation is ongoing.
BRANDISHING, 2026-05310111, 900 block of S. Buchanan Street. At approximately 1:55 p.m. on May 31, police were dispatched to the report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect was in his vehicle, described as a black sedan, when he pulled alongside the male victim, brandished what appeared to be a firearm and subsequently fled the scene. No injuries were reported. Responding officers canvassed the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 30's with facial hair wearing all black clothing. The investigation is ongoing.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING BY MOB (late), 2026-05290246, 900 block of S. Dinwiddie Street. At approximately 7:45 p.m. on May 29, police were dispatched to an unclassified call for service. It was determined between approximately 2:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m., the male victim was outside when the three male suspects approached and subsequently assaulted him before fleeing the scene. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital. The suspects are described as Hispanic males. The investigation is ongoing.
