REPORTS
ROBBERY, 2026-07300123, 900 block of Army Navy Drive. At approximately 1:32 p.m. on July 30, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business, collected merchandise and allegedly exited without payment when loss prevention personnel confronted him. The suspect then displayed a knife and fled the scene on foot. No injuries were reported. Responding officers canvassed the area for the suspect and located an individual matching the description of the suspect in the Pentagon City Metro Station and attempted to detain him. The suspect resisted officers before being taken into custody. During the course of the investigation, a pocketknife was recovered. Donnell Sheck, 31, of Washington, DC was arrested and charged with Robbery and Obstruction of Justice. It was also determined the suspect had previously stolen merchandise from the store on July 13, 2026 and an additional charge of Petit Larceny was obtained. He was held without bond.
ROBBERY, 2026-07300154, 3100 block of Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 3:49 p.m. on July 30, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business, concealed merchandise, removed merchandise from its packaging and threw it towards an employee before exiting the store without payment. No injuries were reported. Responding officers canvassed the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a thin-build Black male, approximately 25-35 years old, 5’10”-6’0”, 150-165 pounds with facial hair, wearing all black clothing. The investigation is ongoing.
