REPORTS

SEXUAL BATTERY, 2026-07090227, 1100 block of S. Hayes Street. At approximately 9:36 p.m. on July 9, police were dispatched to the report of an assault. Upon arrival, it was determined the female victim, who is an employee,  was in an employee-only area of the building when the male suspect approached her and touched her inappropriately. The victim shoved the suspect away from her and she left the scene. No injuries were reported. The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male in his 30’s or 40’s with facial hair, approximately 5’6”-5’8”, wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans and black and white shoes. The investigation is ongoing.
