REPORTS

MALICIOUS BODILY INJURY*, 2026-01030005, 800 block of N. Glebe Road. At approximately 12:40 a.m. on January 3, police were dispatched to the report of trouble unknown. Upon arrival, it was determined an employee was in an employee-only area of the business when the male suspect allegedly entered and assaulted him. The victim sustained serious, non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital. Responding officers located the suspect on scene and took him into custody. Anthony Manno, 20, of Valley Stream, NY was arrested and charged with Malicious Bodily Injury.

ASSAULT ON POLICE, 2026-01020130, 1200 block of S. Hayes Street. At approximately 5:26 p.m. on January 2, an officer working a crime prevention detail at the Pentagon City Metro Station stopped the juvenile female suspect for fare evasion. While the suspect was being detained, she pushed the officer before being detained. No injuries were reported. Petitions for the suspect for Assault on Police, Obstruction of Justice and Fare Evasion were obtained.

ROBBERY, 2026-01030119, 5500 block of Columbia Pike. At approximately 7:31 p.m. on January 3, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined the female victim was walking in the area when the male suspect exited a nearby vehicle, described as a dark-colored truck, demanded cash and stole money from the victim’s pocket before striking her and fleeing the scene in his vehicle. The victim sustained minor injuries and was treated and released on scene by medics. Responding officers canvassed the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 40 years old wearing all black clothing and a ski mask. The investigation is ongoing.

ROBBERY, 2026-01040119, 1200 block of S. Courthouse Road. At approximately 5:03 p.m. on January 4, police were dispatched to the report of an assault with a weapon. Upon arrival, it was determined the juvenile male victim was inside a residential building hallway when the three male suspects in their late teens assaulted him and stole his cellphone before fleeing the scene. The victim sustained minor injuries and did not require medical attention. Responding officers canvassed the area for the suspects yielding negative results. The suspects are described as thin-build, light-skinned Black males wearing ski masks. The investigation into the circumstances of the incident is ongoing.

BURGLARY (late), 2026-01030045, 1600 block of Wison Boulevard. At approximately 10:04 a.m. on January 3, police were dispatched to the late report of a breaking and entering. It was determined at approximately 12:03 a.m., the male suspect forced entry into the closed business, stole a safe and fled the scene. The suspect is described as a heavy-set Hispanic male, approximately 5’4”-5’6” wearing a black hoodie, green beanie, khaki pants and black shoes. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY (late), 2026-01020080, 1800 block of N. Dinwiddie Street. On January 2, police received an online report for a late burglary. It was determined at approximately 11:20 p.m. on December 30, 2025, the male victim was inside his residence when he heard a noise and upon further investigation, observed the male suspect attempting to force entry into the home. The suspect subsequently fled the scene on foot. There is no suspect description. The investigation is ongoing.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY (late), 2026-01020079, 500 block of 12th Road S. On January 2, police received an online report for a late burglary. It was determined at approximately 2:45 p.m. on December 30, 2025, the known female suspect entered the female victim’s unoccupied residence before fleeing the scene. No items were reported stolen. The investigation is ongoing.
