REPORTS
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY (Significant), 2026-01140193, 3200 block of 24th Street S. At approximately 10:41 p.m. on January 14, police were dispatched to the report of destruction of property. The preliminary investigation indicates the suspect approached a closed office inside a residential building, allegedly poured gasoline and struck the door, resulting in damage. Responding officers located the suspect on scene and took her into custody. Taliesha Rosetta Johnson, 38, of Arlington, VA was arrested and charged Destruction of Property (x2) and Attempted Arson.
INDECENT EXPOSURE, 2026-01150180, 2900 block of Military Road. At approximately 5:43 p.m. on January 15, police were dispatched to the report of an exposure. Upon arrival, it was determined the female victim was walking in the area when the male suspect approached her and exposed himself before fleeing the scene on a scooter. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’5”-5’9”, approximately 30 years old and 130-160 pounds, wearing a black beanie, black puffer jacket and dark jeans. The investigation is ongoing.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2026-01150242, 2100 block of 18th Street N. At approximately 11:57 p.m. on January 15, police were dispatched to the report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect made entry into the residence and fled the scene when the female victim discovered him inside. A lookout was broadcast, and responding officers conducted a canvass of the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as an athletic-build Black male with facial hair, approximately 5’10”, approximately 20-30 years old, wearing a dark puffer jacket, black pants and light-colored shoes. The investigation is ongoing.
