REPORTS
WEAPONS VIOLATION (Significant), 2025-12310157, Columbia Pike at S. Walter Reed Drive. At approximately 8:31 p.m. on December 31, an officer conducted a traffic stop and upon making contact with the driver, observed an open alcohol container inside the vehicle and determined the driver was not licensed. During a search of the vehicle, a concealed firearm with an extended magazine was recovered. Arman Uddin, 20, of Arlington, VA was arrested and charged with Possession of Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of a Concealed Firearm, Possession of an Extended Magazine and Possession of an Open Container.
VEHICLE TAMPERING (Significant), 2025-12310186, 600 block of N. Tazewell Street. At approximately 11:22 p.m. on December 31, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny from auto. Upon arrival, it was determined a witness observed suspects trying door handles of parked vehicles. The suspects then entered an unlocked vehicle, tampered with the ignition and began driving out of the parking space when they struck an unoccupied, parked vehicle resulting in minor damage. The suspects ran from the vehicle and responding officers established a perimeter and apprehended two teenage juvenile male suspects. Petitions are pending for the suspects.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2026-01010045, 800 block of S. Frederick Street. At approximately 3:06 a.m. on January 1, police were dispatched to the report of a dispute inside a residence. Upon arrival, it was determined the male subject, who is known to the female subject, forced entry into her residence and retrieved his personal belongings before leaving the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2025-12310073, 500 block of 15th Street S. At approximately 12:08 p.m. on December 31, police were dispatched to the report of suspicious circumstances. The preliminary investigation indicates an unknown subject made entry to the victim’s residence and tampered with their property. No items were reported stolen. There is no suspect description. The investigation is ongoing.
