REPORTS
ASSAULT ON POLICE, 2026-02160119, 3800 block of 7th Street N. At approximately 4:29 p.m. on February 16, police and fire were dispatched to the report of an intoxicated individual and made contact with the male suspect inside a residence. The suspect became agitated, did not cooperate with medics and blocked the public safety personnel from exiting the apartment. The suspect then became aggressive towards medics and the officer intervened by attempting to detain him. The suspect was noncompliant, struck the officer and attempted to disarm the officer of his firearm. With the assistance of additional responding officers, the suspect was taken into custody. No injuries were reported. Christopher Rowland, 50, of Arlington, Va. was arrested and charged with Assault on Police, Assault and Battery (x2), Attempted Disarming of a Law Enforcement Officer, Abduction and Obstruction of Justice. He was held without bond.
ASSAULT ON POLICE, 2026-02150109, 3200 block of Columbia Pike. At approximately 2:20 p.m. on February 15, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny. Upon arrival, it was determined the female suspect allegedly received beauty services at the business and exited without payment. A responding officer located the suspect walking in the area and took her into custody during which she struck the officer. No injuries were reported. Mecca Keller, 41, of Arlington, Va. was arrested and charged with Assault on Police, Petit Larceny and Public Intoxication. She was held without bond.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING (late), 2026-02150133, 1400 block of S. Eads Street. At approximately 4:32 p.m. on February 15, police were dispatched to the police station for the late report of an assault. The reporting party stated at approximately 3:00 a.m., the two male victims were inside a residence with the two female suspects, during which the two male suspects approached from a room inside the home and demanded the victims’ personal belongings. The victims refused and the male suspects stole one victim’s jacket before striking the victims with baseball bats and threatening them with a machete. The victims then exited the residence. They sustained serious, non-life threatening injuries and subsequently self-reported to a hospital. Female Suspect One is described as a light-skinned Hispanic female, approximately 5’5’”, 20-30 years old, with brown eyes and tan hair. Female Suspect Two is described as a thin-build unknown race female, approximately 5’6”, 20-30 years old, with short black hair. Male Suspect One is described as a bald Hispanic male, approximately 6’2”, 30-40 years old, wearing all black clothing. Male Suspect Two is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’6”, 20-30 years old, wearing all black clothing. The investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY (late), 2026-02150055, 1800 block of Fort Myer Drive. At approximately 7:15 a.m. on February 15, police were dispatched to the late report of a burglary. It was determined at approximately 3:02 a.m., the three male suspects forced entry into the closed business by backing a vehicle into the business’ door, shattering the glass. Two of the suspects then entered the business, stole tools and all three suspects fled the scene in the vehicle, described as a gray sedan. Suspect One is described as a Black male, approximately 5’9”-6’0”, 150 pounds wearing all black clothing and a face covering. Suspect Two is described as a Black male, approximately 5’10”-6’0”, 180 pounds wearing a black hoodie, gray sweatpants, tan shoes and a face covering. Suspect Three is described as a Black male, approximately 5’8”-5’11”, 200 pounds wearing all black clothing and a white face covering. The investigation is ongoing.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY (late), 2026-02130206, 2500 block of Arlington Boulevard. On February 13, police were received an online report for a late unlawful entry. It was determined at approximately 8:00 a.m. on February 5, the female victim observed the male suspect asleep in her residence and confronted him. The suspect then exited the home and fled the scene. No items were reported stolen. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’7”, 40 years old wearing a blue sweater, black pants, white sneakers and a blue hat. The investigation is ongoing.
INDECENT EXPOSURE (late), 2026-02150118, N. Pierce Street at Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 3:21 p.m. on February 15, police were dispatched to the late report of an exposure. It was determined at approximately 2:00 p.m., the female suspect was walking in the area when she observed the male suspect exposing himself. The victim then left the area. Responding officers canvassed the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a white male, 20-30 years old with facial hair wearing a gray hoodie. The investigation is ongoing.
