REPORTS
UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2026-04290174, 800 block of N. Manchester Street. At approximately 6:13 p.m. on April 29, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect made entry into the vacant residence. A witness notified police and responding officers located the suspect at the scene. Ernest Duran, 57, of Silver Spring, Md., was arrested and charged with Unlawful Entry.
ROBBERY, 2026-04290193, 800 block of S. Dickerson Street. At approximately 8:01 p.m. on April 29, police responded to the report of a robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined that the juvenile male was outside when a vehicle with three male suspects approached him and engaged him in conversation. A struggle ensued at the vehicle, during which the suspects brandished firearms and stole the victim’s cash before fleeing the scene. No injuries were reported. A canvass of the area for the suspects yielded negative results. Suspect One is described as a White male, 20-25 years old wearing black clothing. Suspect Two is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 20-25 years old wearing a grey sweater. Suspect Three is described as a heavy-set White/Hispanic male, approximately 5’10” tall, wearing a grey shirt. The investigation into the circumstances of this incident is ongoing.
