MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 2026-04150013, Richmond Highway at 23rd Street S. At approximately 1:40 a.m. on April 15, police were dispatched to the report of an assault. Upon arrival, it was determined the female victim was in a parking lot outside a business with the female suspect, who is known to her, and two male suspects when they became involved in a verbal dispute that escalated to a physical altercation. The suspects subsequently entered their vehicle and allegedly struck the victim as they fled the scene. The victim sustained serious, non-life threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital. Responding officers canvassed the area for the suspects yielding negative results. The investigation into the circumstances of the incident is ongoing.
