REPORTS
AGGRAVATED MALICIOUS WOUNDING (Late), 2025-09180209, 13th Street S. at S. Eads Street. At approximately 7:46 p.m. on September 18, police were dispatched to the late report of an assault. It was reported on September 16 at 10:00 p.m., the male victim was walking in the area when he was approached by three male suspects who engaged him in conversation. The suspects then struck him with a metal object and stole his jewelry before fleeing the scene. The victim sustained serious injuries and self-reported to an area hospital. The suspects are described as three Hispanic males approximately 25 years of age. Suspect One is described as heavy-set, approximately 6’1”, wearing a black sweatshirt and sweatpants. Suspect Two and Suspect Three are described as thin-build, approximately 5’11”, wearing a t-shirt and sweatpants. The investigation is ongoing.
VEHICLE TAMPERING (Series), 2025-09190032, 1400 block of S. Joyce Street. At approximately 5:02 a.m. on September 19, police were dispatched to the report of destruction of property. Upon arrival, it was determined a witness observed three juvenile suspects force entry into vehicles in a parking lot and rummage through their interiors before fleeing the scene. The preliminary investigation indicates nine victim vehicles were entered. Six of the vehicles were entered by force by shattering a window or damaging the door handle. No items were reported stolen, and the victim vehicles vary in make and model. There are no suspect descriptions. The investigation is ongoing.
