REPORTS
WEAPONS VIOLATION, 2025-09110182, 2400 block of S. Lowell Street. At approximately 7:06 p.m. on September 11, an officer observed an improperly registered vehicle, conducted a traffic stop and determined the driver had a suspended license. During a search of the vehicle prior to towing, a concealed firearm was recovered and, during a search of the driver, suspected narcotics were recovered. Arnu Diggs III, 37, of Alexandria, VA was arrested and charged with Possession of Schedule I/II Controlled Substance, Possession of a Firearm while in Possession of Narcotics, Possession of a Concealed Firearm, Possession of Narcotics by Prisoner, Driving an Improperly Registered Vehicle and Driving on a Suspended License. He was held without bond.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2025-09140062, 1300 block of S. George Mason Drive. At approximately 7:18 a.m. on September 14, police were dispatched to the report of a breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect allegedly forced entry into the vacant apartment by breaking a glass window. Responding officers located the suspect at the scene and took him into custody without incident. Christepher Fabian Castillo, 21, of No Fixed Address, was arrested, and charged with Unlawful Entry.
BRANDISHING, 2025-09140021, 4500 block of 31st Street S. At approximately 1:17 a.m. on September 14, police were dispatched to the report of a dispute. Upon arrival, it was determined the female victim returned to her residence to find that the male suspect, that is known to her, had made entry into her residence. When she confronted the suspect, he brandished what appeared to be firearm before fleeing the scene. No injuries were reported. The investigation into the circumstances of this incident is ongoing.
BURGLARY (late), 2025-09120040, 1500 block of Fairfax Drive. At approximately 6:39 a.m. on September 12, police were dispatched to the late report of a breaking and entering. It was determined between 3:30 p.m. on September 11 and 6:30 a.m. on September 12, the unknown suspect(s) forced entry into multiple offices at the construction site, causing property damage, stole construction materials and subsequently fled the scene. There is no suspect description(s). The investigation is ongoing.
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY (late)/ BURGLARY (late), 2025-09120261/2025-09130015, 5000 block of Chesterfield Road. At approximately 11:26 p.m. on September 12, police were dispatched to the late report of a breaking and entering. It was determined at 6:11 p.m., two male suspects attempted to force entry into the vacant, under construction residence by kicking the front door but quickly fled the scene when confronted by the owner over the alarm system. It was also reported on September 10 at 6:00 p.m. and September 11 at 7:00 a.m., the suspects made entry into the residence, stole construction equipment and broke windows before fleeing the scene. Suspect One is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’9”, wearing all black and a helmet. Suspect Two is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’7” wearing a black t-shirt, dark gray shorts and white shoes. The investigation is ongoing.
