REPORTS
AGGRAVATED MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 2025-09110181, 3500 block of Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 6:58 p.m. on September 11, police were dispatched to the report of an assault with a weapon. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business, went behind the counter and began collecting merchandise when an employee confronted him. A physical altercation ensued during which the suspect displayed a knife and struck the employee with it, resulting in several lacerations. The suspect then exited the store and fled the scene on foot. Responding officers located the employee on scene and provided medical assistance before medics arrived and transported him to an area hospital with serious injuries. A canvass of the area was conducted for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a Black male with long dreadlocks, approximately 6’0”-6’3”, wearing a black hoodie, gray pants and white and black shoes. The investigation is ongoing.
ROBBERY, 2025-09110026, 600 block of N. Glebe Road. At approximately 6:38 a.m. on September 11, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny in progress. Upon arrival, it was determined approximately 20 minutes prior, Suspect One and Two entered the business, concealed merchandise and exited the store without payment. One suspect made threatening statements towards an employee outside the business and threw a rock at them before fleeing the scene on foot with the other suspect. No injuries were reported. Suspect One is described as a Black male, approximately 19-20 years old, 6’0” with braids wearing all black clothing. Suspect Two is described as a Black male, approximately 19-20 years old, 5’10” and bald wearing all black clothing. The investigation is ongoing.
