REPORTS
ROBBERY, 2025-10290163, 4700 block of Langston Boulevard. At approximately 8:00 p.m. on October 29, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business and asked an employee for cigarettes behind the counter. The suspect then allegedly grabbed the cigarettes from the employee’s hand and fled the scene on foot with the merchandise. No injuries were reported. A lookout was broadcast, and responding officers located an individual matching the description of the suspect at the 2100 block of N. Glebe Road and took him into custody. During the course of the investigation, suspected narcotics were recovered, and it was determined the suspect was wanted out of another jurisdiction. Abdiqani Hassan, 36, of Fairfax, Va., was arrested, and charged with Robbery, Possession of Schedule I/II Controlled Substance (x2) and served with the outstanding warrants. He was held without bond.
