REPORTS
UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2025-10150003, 4300 block of Arlington Boulevard. At approximately 12:12 a.m. on October 15, police were dispatched to the report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, it was determined that the female victim was inside her residence when she heard a noise and upon further investigation, observed the unknown male suspect allegedly made entry into her home. The victim screamed, alerting another member of the household, who confronted the suspect. The suspect subsequently fled the scene on foot. A lookout was broadcast, and responding officers located an individual matching the description of the suspect at N. Glebe Road and N. Pershing Drive and took him into custody. During the course of the investigation, the suspect provided false personal identification information to an officer. Victor Vasquez, 43, of Arlington, VA, was arrested and charged with Unlawful Entry, Public Intoxication and Giving False Identity to Law Enforcement.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING BY CAUSTIC SUBSTANCE, 2025-10140159, 2800 block of Clarendon Boulevard. At approximately 6:36 p.m. on October 14, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny in progress. Upon arrival, it was determined two female suspects entered the business, collected merchandise and exited the store without payment. A witness confronted the suspects as they entered their parked vehicle, during which the passenger, Suspect Two, deployed pepper spray before both suspects fled the scene in the vehicle. Medics evaluated and treated the witness on scene. During the course of the investigation, officers identified Suspect One and obtained warrants for Larceny with Intent to Sell and Grand Larceny. The investigation is ongoing.
ROBBERY, 2025-10140145, 1500 block of Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 4:44 p.m. on October 14, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business, concealed merchandise in a bag and walked towards the exit of the store without payment. When confronted by loss prevention personnel, the suspect made threatening statements and spat on him before fleeing the scene on foot. A lookout was broadcast, and responding officers conducted a canvass of the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a light-skinned Black male, approximately 40 years old with a mustache and beard, wearing a beanie hat, blue puffer coat, black sweatpants and black shoes. The investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY (Late), 2025-10140023, 2100 block of Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 6:35 a.m. on October 14, police were dispatched to the late report of a burglary. It was determined between 4:11 a.m. and 6:23 a.m. on October 14, the unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the closed, under construction business, causing property damage, stole construction equipment and subsequently fled the scene. There is no suspect description(s). The investigation is ongoing.
