REPORTS
MALICIOUS WOUNDING BY CAUSTIC AGENT, 2025-06040206, 3200 block of 24th Street S. At approximately 9:20 p.m. on June 4, police were dispatched to the report of a fight. Upon arrival, officers observed multiple individuals engaged in fights. As the officers arrived on scene, the fights stopped, and the involved individuals began to disperse. Officers then located two female subjects who had been pepper sprayed and both declined medical attention. During the course of the investigation into the fights, a witness reported observing a male suspect exit a vehicle, confront a group and brandish what appeared to be a large knife before fleeing the scene in the vehicle, described as a silver sedan. The suspect is described as a Black male wearing a hat, white button-down shirt and red shorts. The investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY, 2025-06040060, 1600 block of N. Buchanan Street. At approximately 10:00 a.m. on June 4, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, it was determined the victim was inside her residence when she heard a noise and upon further investigation, observed evidence that the unknown suspect(s) made entry into her residence and subsequently fled the scene. No items in the home were reported damaged or stolen. There is no suspect description(s). The investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY (Late), 2025-06030160, 5100 block of 8th Road S. At approximately 5:11 p.m. on June 3, police were dispatched to the late report of a burglary just discovered. It was determined while the victim was away, the unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the unoccupied apartment, stole clothing items and subsequently fled the scene. There is no suspect description(s). The investigation is ongoing.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY (Late), 2025-06020128, 2600 block of S. Veitch Street. At approximately 2:24 p.m. on June 2, police were dispatched to the late report of a breaking and entering. It was determined between May 17 and May 23, an employee of a residential building observed evidence that the suspect(s) forced entry into a vacant apartment and subsequently fled the scene. There is no suspect description(s). The investigation is ongoing.
