REPORTS

ROBBERY, 2025-12050118, 1200 block of S. Hayes Street. At approximately 1:47 p.m. on December 5, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business, collected merchandise and allegedly exited the store without payment. When confronted by an employee, the suspect assaulted the victim before fleeing the scene on foot. No injuries were reported.  A lookout was broadcast, and responding officers located the suspect in a nearby parking garage and took him into custody following a foot pursuit. Carlos Henderson, 21, of No Fixed Address, was arrested and charged with Robbery, Wearing a Mask in Public and Obstruction of Justice. He was held without bond.

ROBBERY, 2025-12050127, 1800 block of Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 2:52 p.m. on December 5, police were dispatched to the report of a suspect with a weapon. Upon arrival, it was determined two female victims were outside the business when they were approached by the male suspect who asked them for cigarettes, when they refused, the suspect allegedly displayed a knife and both victims left the area and went inside the business. The suspect followed the victims inside the store, encountered a third victim, displayed a knife, collected merchandise and subsequently exited the business without payment. No injuries were reported. Responding officers located the suspect at the scene, issued commands and detained him. During a search incident to arrest, a knife was recovered. Donte Smith, 41, of No Fixed Address, was arrested and charged with Attempted Robbery (2x) and Robbery. He was held without bond.

ROBBERY, 2025-12050121, 2900 block of Columbia Pike. At approximately 1:54 p.m. on December 5, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny in progress. Upon arrival. It was determined the male suspect entered the business, allegedly concealed merchandise in a bag, made threatening statements and fled the scene on foot with the stolen merchandise. The suspect is described as a slim-build Blak male, wearing a black jacket, khaki pants and white shoes. The investigation is ongoing.
