REPORTS
ASSAULT ON LAW ENFORCEMENT, 2025-11270016, N. Highland Street at N. Hartford Street. At approximately 1:13 a.m. on November 27, police were dispatched to the report of an Arlington County Police Department Transportation Safety Specialist in need of backup. Upon arrival, it was determined while the TSS was conducting a road closure in the area, he observed the male suspect drive the wrong direction through a marked traffic cone pattern. The TSS confronted the suspect who allegedly began yelling threatening statements towards him before accelerating and stopping his vehicle towards the TSS. The suspect the fled the scene in his vehicle. No injuries were reported. A lookout was broadcast and responding officers located him in the area of N. Franklin Street and N. Edgewood Street and took him into custody. Semere Tseguy Dabesa, 41, of Alexandria, Va. was arrested and charged with Assault and Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer.
ROBBERY, 2025-11300143, 2400 block of N. Harrison Street. At approximately 8:05 p.m. on November 30, police were dispatched to a larceny in progress. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect allegedly entered the business and began acting disorderly. When two employees confronted the suspect, he made threatening statements towards them before collecting merchandise and exiting the store without payment. No injuries were reported. A lookout was broadcast and a responding officer located him in the 5300 block of Langston Boulevard and took him into custody. Ahmad Bilal, 51, of No Fixed Address was arrested and charged with Robbery (x2). He was held without bond.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 2025-11280126, 2100 block of 15th Street N. At approximately 4:54 p.m. on November 28, police were dispatched to the report of an assault with a weapon. Upon arrival, it was determined the male victim was outside when the male suspect approached him and threw a rock at him before fleeing the scene on foot. Medics responded and treated and released the victim on scene for minor injuries. Responding officers canvassed the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 35 years old wearing a light-colored jacket, dark-colored shorts and black leggings. The investigation is ongoing.
ROBBERY, 2025-11290220, 1000 block of S. Quebec Street. At approximately 10:57 p.m. on November 29, police were dispatched to the report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect was outside a residential building when the two male suspects approached him. Suspect One displayed a pocketknife and demanded cash. The suspects subsequently fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported. Responding officers canvassed the area for the suspects yielding negative results. Suspect One is described as a Black male, approximately 5’10” wearing a gray jacket, black pants and a black ski mask. Suspect Two is described as a Black male, approximately 5’6” wearing all black clothing and a ski mask. The investigation is ongoing.
