REPORTS
ROBBERY, 2025-08260186/2025-08260207, 5000 block of Columbia Pike. At approximately 4:51 p.m. on August 26, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined Suspect One entered the business and began concealing merchandise during which an employee started to take photos of him with their cellphone. When the suspect went to exit the store without payment, he took the employee’s phone and threw it across the business before fleeing the scene in a black sedan driven by Suspect Two. No injuries were reported. During the course of the investigation, it was determined Suspect One entered the business the day before, collected merchandise, made threatening statements toward an employee and fled the scene in a vehicle. Suspect One is described as a Black male, approximately 5’9”-6’0”, 155-170 pounds with long braids wearing blue shorts, a white shirt and a black medical mask. Suspect Two is described as a Black male, approximately 5’10”-6’1”, 155-175 pounds with black dreadlocks and a beard wearing gray pants and a white shirt. The investigation is ongoing.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY (late), 2025-08260146, 1400 block of N. Quincy Street. At approximately 12:27 p.m. on August 26, police were dispatched to the late report of a burglary. It was determined between August 23 and August 25, the suspect(s) made entry into an Arlington County facility, caused property damage and subsequently fled the scene. No items were reported missing. There is no suspect description(s). The investigation is ongoing.
