REPORTS
MISSILE INTO AN OCCUPIED VEHICLE, 2025-04150162, S. Walter Reed Drive at 19th Street S. At approximately 6:11 p.m. on April 15, police were dispatched to the report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect allegedly threw a rock, striking an occupied Arlington County firetruck traveling in the area. Responding officers located the male suspect on scene and attempted to take him into custody during which he was noncompliant. With the assistance of an additional responding officer, the suspect was subsequently taken into custody. During the course of the investigation, suspected narcotics were recovered. Colin Risher, 42, of Arlington, Va. was arrested and charged with Missile Into an Occupied Vehicle, Destruction of Property, Obstruction of Justice and Possession of Schedule I/II Controlled Substance.
BURGLARY, 2025-04150193, 1000 block of S. Glebe Road. At approximately 9:11 p.m. on April 15, police were dispatched to the report of a hold up alarm. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect forced entry into the closed business, walked through the interior and subsequently fled the scene. No items were reported stolen. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 5’9”-6’0”, 170-200 pounds, with black hair. The investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY, 2025-04160005, 5100 block of 8th Road S. At approximately 12:54 a.m. on April 16, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary just occurred. The preliminary investigation indicates the known male and female suspects forced entry into the victim’s unoccupied residence and stole clothing items. Upon exiting the building, the suspects were confronted by the victim and serval witnesses. The suspects then fled the scene in two vehicles. The investigation into the circumstances of the incident is ongoing.
