REPORTS
ASSAULT ON POLICE, 2025-04110159,1200 block of S. Hayes Street. At approximately 5:14 p.m. on April 11, officers detained a male suspect for fare evasion in the Pentagon City Metro Station and the juvenile female suspect, who is known to the male suspect, threw food items at an officer. Another officer attempted to detain the female suspect during which the suspect struck the officer. With the assistance of additional responding officers, the female suspect was taken into custody. The officer that was struck sustained minor injuries. Petitions were obtained for the juvenile female suspect for Assault on Police (x2).
ROBBERY, 2025-04110186 ,1000 block of S. Hayes Street. At approximately 7:21 p.m. on April 11, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect allegedly entered the business, concealed merchandise and attempted to exit without payment when he was confronted by loss prevention personnel. The loss prevention personnel then attempted to detain the suspect, a struggle ensued, and he was successfully detained before the arrival of responding officers. Two of the loss prevention employees and the suspect sustained minor injuries and did not require medical attention. All stolen merchandise was recovered. During the course of the investigation, suspected narcotics were recovered. Ervin Vicente, 23, of Alexandria, Va. was arrested and charged with Robbery and Possession of Schedule I/II Controlled Substance. He was held without bond.
PEEPING, 2025-04120213, 1900 block of N. Rhodes Street. At approximately 10:04 p.m. on April 12, police were dispatched to the report of a peeping. Upon arrival, it was determined the female victim was inside her residence when she observed the male suspect looking through a window. The victim then knocked on the window and the suspect subsequently fled the scene. A lookout was broadcast and responding officers conducted a canvass of the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a white male with dark hair. The investigation is ongoing.
MISSILE INTO OCCUPIED VEHICLE, 2025-04130055, Arlington Boulevard at Richmond Highway. At approximately 8:51 a.m. on April 13, police were dispatched to the report of suspicious circumstances. The preliminary investigation indicates two victims were driving their vehicles in the area between 7:50 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. when a male suspect approached on foot and threw an object at their car windows, causing property damage, before fleeing the scene. No injuries were reported. Responding officers conducted a canvass of the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as an average height male, wearing a black hoodie and jeans. The investigation is ongoing.
MISSILE INTO OCCUPIED DWELLING, 2025-04120212, 800 block of S. Greenbrier Street. At approximately 9:59 p.m. on April 12, police were dispatched to the report of suspicious circumstances. Upon arrival, it was determined the male victim was inside his residence when he heard a loud noise and observed a brick that was thrown through his window. No injuries were reported. There are no suspect description(s). The investigation is ongoing.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2025-04120141, 1800 block of N. Quinn Street. At approximately 3:36 p.m. on April 12, police were dispatched to the report of trespassing. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect made entry into a vacant apartment. Responding officers located the suspect on scene and detained him without incident. Naomi Spruill, 29, of No Fixed Address, was arrested for Unlawful Entry. He was held without bond.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY (late), 2025-04110071, 2300 block of 11th Street N. At approximately 8:56 a.m. on April 11, police were dispatched to the report of suspicious circumstances. It was determined between approximately 9:30 p.m. and 11:26 p.m. on April 10, the two male suspects made entry into two storage rooms inside a residential building and subsequently fled the scene. The suspects are described as Hispanic males. The investigation is ongoing.
