REPORTS
ROBBERY, 2024-10250134, 4200 block of Fairfax Drive. At approximately 2:50 p.m. on October 25, police were dispatched to the report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined that the male suspect entered the business, allegedly collected bottles of wine and other merchandise and exited the store without payment. An employee confronted the suspect outside the store during which he raised a bottle of wine and threatened the employee with it before smashing it on the ground. The suspect then lifted his shirt and displayed what appeared to be the handle of a firearm and fled the scene on foot. A lookout was broadcast, and responding officers located the suspect in the Ballston Metro station and took him into custody. Ernest Price, 26, of No Fixed Address was arrested and charged with Robbery. He was held without bond.
ROBBERY, 2024-10260196, 4200 block of Fairfax Drive. At approximately 7:17 p.m. on October 26, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business, concealed merchandise and attempted to exit the business without payment. When confronted by an employee, the suspect made threatening statements towards the employee before fleeing the scene on foot with the stolen merchandise. A lookout was broadcast and responding officers located the suspect in the Ballston Metro and took him into custody. Jerome Ebb, 48, of Washington, DC was arrested and charged with Robbery.
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY, 2024-10270053, 2400 block of Columbia Pike. At approximately 4:11 a.m. on October 27, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, it was determined that three male suspects attempted to gain entry into the business before fleeing the scene on foot. A lookout was broadcast and a responding officer located two individuals matching the description of the suspects in the area of 13th Street S. and S. Highland Street and took them into custody. During the course of the investigation, burglarious tools were recovered from one of the suspects. Petitions for the two juvenile suspects were obtained for Attempted Burglary (x2) and Possession of Burglarious Tools. The third suspect was not located and is described as a white male, approximately 5’8” with an athletic build, wearing a camouflage jacket, black pants, and black face covering. The investigation is ongoing.
ROBBERY, 2024-10250069, 1500 block of Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 9:22 a.m. on October 25, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined that two male suspects entered the business, collected merchandise, and exited the store without payment. When confronted by an employee, Suspect One made threatening statements towards the employee before fleeing the scene on foot. Suspect One is described as a Black male in his 20’s, approximately 5’9” with a beard, wearing all black, black and white shoes, and a black backpack. Suspect Two is described as a Black male in his 20’s, with dreadlocks, wearing a black jacket, black shirt, gray pants and tan boots with a blue backpack. The investigation is ongoing.
ROBBERY, 2024-10260107, 2400 block of Shirlington Road. At approximately 12:07 a.m. on October 26, police were dispatched to the report of a fight. Upon arrival, it was determined that the male victim was inside the business when the male suspect threatened him with a knife and stole his backpack before subsequently fleeing the scene. No injuries were reported. There is no suspect description. The investigation is ongoing.
ROBBERY, 2024-10270193, 2000 block of S. Oakland Street. At approximately 7:58 p.m. on October 27, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was walking in the area when the male suspect approached her from behind, pushed her to the ground and stole her purse. The suspect then entered the passenger seat of a dark sedan driven by a second suspect and they fled the scene. The victim sustained minor injuries and declined medical attention at the scene. The suspect is described as a male, approximately 5’10” with a medium build. There is no suspect description of the driver at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
ROBBERY (late), 2024-10270208, 2900 block of S. Glebe Road. At approximately 9:46 p.m. on October 27, police were dispatched to the late report of an assault. Upon arrival, it was determined that the male suspect entered the business, collected merchandise, and attempted to exit the store without payment. When confronted by an employee, the suspect pushed the employee to the ground before fleeing the scene on foot. The employee did not sustain any injuries. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male with a skinny build, approximately 20-30 years of age, 5’7”, with long hair, wearing a beige baseball cap, hooded camo jacket, and light-colored jeans. The investigation is ongoing.
ROBBERY, 2024-10270211, 3500 block of Fairfax Drive. At approximately 9:54 p.m. on October 27, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined that the male suspect entered the business, went behind the counter, shoved an employee and stole cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of cash before subsequently fleeing the scene. No injuries were reported. The suspect is described as a light skin Black male, approximately 5’8” to 5’9” weighing 150-160 pounds, wearing a white sweatshirt, black and white pants, black boots and a black face covering. The investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY (late), 2024-10270171, 1100 block of S. Walter Reed Drive. At approximately 5:50 p.m. on October 27, police were dispatched to the late report of a breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined at approximately 3:00 a.m. on October 27, the male suspect entered the closed business, rummaged through the interior, and stole an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the scene. The suspect is described as a male wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and running shoes. The investigation is ongoing.
MISSLE INTO OCCUPIED VEHICLE, 2024-10250246, 800 block of N. Quincy Street. At approximately 11:33 p.m. on October 25, police were dispatched to the report of suspicious circumstances. Upon arrival, it was determined the two male victims were inside a parked vehicle when their vehicle was struck with a rock, causing the rear windshield to shatter. The victims then drove away from the scene and called police. No injuries were reported. During the course of the investigation, police received a call for service for suspects throwing rocks from the roof of a residential building in the 800 block of N. Quincy Street and located an additional vehicle with property damage. Responding officers canvassed the area for the suspect yielding negative results. There are no suspect descriptions. The investigation is ongoing.
