REPORTS
BURGLARY, 2024-06190197, 2700 block of S. Fern Street. At approximately 10:03 p.m. on June 19, police were dispatched to the report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, it was determined that the male suspect made entry into a residential building and began stealing coins from laundry machines. Responding officers located the suspect on scene and took him into custody without incident. During the course of the investigation, burglarious tools were recovered. Medics responded and transported the suspect to an area hospital for medical evaluation. Dennis Miller, 59, of No Fixed Address was arrested for Burglary and Possession of Burglarious Tools.
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY, 2024-06190012, 3400 block of Washington Boulevard. At approximately 1:35 a.m. on June 19, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary alarm. Upon arrival, it was determined that the unknown suspect(s) attempted to force entry into a closed business before fleeing the scene. There is no suspect description(s). The investigation is ongoing.
