REPORTS
BANK ROBBERY, 2023-04040102, 3400 block of Columbia Pike. At approximately 10:29 a.m. on April 4, police were dispatched to the report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined the unknown male suspect entered the bank, slipped the teller a note, implied he had a weapon and demanded money. The suspect then entered a blue sedan and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. No weapon was seen or displayed, and no injuries were reported. The suspect is described as a Black male wearing a black jacket and a white mask. The investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY (late), 2023-04040080, 5900 block of Washington Boulevard. At approximately 9:17 a.m. on April 4, police were dispatched to the late report of a breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined at approximately 5:05 a.m., an unknown suspect forced entry into the business, rummaged through the interior of the store and stole an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect is described as a Black male wearing dark clothing and gloves. The investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY (late), 2023-04040208, 4000 block of S. Four Mile Run Drive. At approximately 7:24 p.m. on April 4, police were dispatched to the late report of a burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined between approximately 11:00 a.m. on April 2 and 6:30 p.m. on April 4, the unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the home and left personal items in the residence before fleeing the scene. No items were reported stolen. There is no suspect description(s). The investigation is ongoing.
