The County is performing ongoing maintenance work on the exterior of the Ballston Public Parking Garage.
The Ballston Public Parking Garage is a County-owned, 2,800-space public parking facility which serves the needs of office workers, visitors, commuters, and retail establishments.
A recent inspection showed that the brick façade on the Ballston Parking Garage is reaching the end of its life. The County began performing maintenance work on the exterior in summer 2024 and demolished the archway at the N. Glebe Road entrance in March 2026. Parking garage users and pedestrians are encouraged to be mindful of the ongoing maintenance and signage around the site.
The adopted FY 2025 - FY 2034 Capital Improvement Plan includes funding for a study to identify façade improvements and for the repair/replacement of the exterior façade.
