Carbon Neutral Transportation Master Plan

In 2022, the County launched a cross-departmental effort to define the Carbon Neutral Transportation Master Plan (CNTMP) that interfaces with and is closely related to at least three other transportation planning efforts in the County: the Master Transportation Plan (MTP), Transit Strategic Plan (TSP) and ART Zero-Emission Bus (ZEB) Feasibility Study. The CNTMP was developed through a collaborative process with County government departments and other stakeholders to develop a set of goals, objectives and key initiatives to support the County’s carbon neutral transportation future.

The CNTMP 5-Year Action Program will stand alone, but its actions, policies and programs will be incorporated into the Community Energy Plan's (CEP) Carbon Roadmap for Years 3 -5 and the subsequent Roadmap updates, including for Years 5 - 10 for implementation.
