FAQs

ARLINGTON HOUSING FAIR SETUP AND BREAK-DOWN INFORMATION

Thank you for joining us for the 2026 Arlington Housing Fair! Below are the essential details to help you prepare for the event.
  1. LOCATION:
    • WALTER REED COMMUNITY CENTER
      2909 S. 16th Street
      Arlington, VA 22204
      (Just off S. Walter Reed Drive, near Columbia Pike)
       Saturday, April 25, 2026, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  2. SETUP: HOURS
    • Exhibitors may set up on:
      Saturday, April 25, 2026 | 8:30 a.m.– 10:30 a.m.
      Please ensure your table is fully set up before the event opens at 11:00 AM.

  3. SETUP: UNLOADING AND EXHIBITOR PARKING
    • Designated EXHIBITOR PARKING is located behind the building, accessible from S. 16th St.
    • Please print your Exhibitor Parking Permit and park there.
    • There is a paved way from the parking to the entrance.
    • There is also an unload area marked in yellow, close to the main entrance. 
  4. SETUP: UNLOADING AND SETUP
    • Tables and chairs will be ready for you in the main exhibitor hall (a large gym with a hardwood floor). Your table will be labeled with the name of your company, group, or organization
    • If your display items could scratch or damage the hardwood floor, please bring your own protective carpet or matting.
    • Bring your own dolly if needed. Only soft rubber wheels are permitted. Light carts may be available—please notify us in advance if you require assistance.

    Electricity

    • Bring your own extension cord and power strip if you need electrical access.
    • Not all tables have outlets—contact us ahead of time if electricity is required.

    Floor rules

    • Do not drag items across the floor.
    • Do not pierce the floor or use duct tape.
    • Only painter’s tape is allowed for securing items.
    • If you have questions, event staff will be available to help.
  5. SETUP: YOUR EXHIBITOR TABLE
    • Upon arrival, please check in with Event Staff. We will greet you and direct you to your table.
    • Each table comes with two chairs. Let us know in advance if you require additional seating or accommodations.
    • Please bring your own tablecloth.
  6. BREAK DOWN INSTRUCTIONS
    • The Fair ends at 4:00 p.m..
    • Exhibitors are strongly discouraged from packing up early.
    • Break-down time is 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  7. LUNCH
    • We provide boxed sandwiches around lunchtime.
    • Each sponsor table will receive two lunch tickets.
