Destination 2027 Assessments
Between January 2018 and December 2018, leaders from the Arlington community served as the Destination 2027 Steering Committee to focus on disparities in health. The committee convened to create a plan to achieve health equity by 2027 through systems change. Health equity exists when everyone has access to the conditions needed for optimal health and well-being.
The first phase of the work by the Destination 2027 Steering Committee was reviewing the four assessments conducted by the Arlington County Public Health Division that follow the Mobilizing for Action through Partnerships and Planning (MAPP) framework:
- Local Public Health System Performance Assessment (LPHSA)
- Community Themes and Strengths Assessment (CTSA)
- Community Health Status Assessment (CHSA)
- Forces of Change Assessment
The technical report for each assessment describes the assessment process and detailed findings. The executive summary summarizes key findings.
