AECOM is hiring for two critical public safety roles that help keep Virginia’s roads safe and efficient: Transportation Operations Center (TOC) Operators and Safety Service Patrol (SSP) Operators. Come learn more, apply and interview!

• Safety Service Patrol (SSP) Operators- Be the first on the scene to assist motorists and ensure roadway safety.

  Duties include:

  • Helping stranded drivers
  •  Clearing debris and road hazards
  • Supporting emergency response
  • Maintaining a visible safety presence
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License with clean driving record in the last 3 years
• Transportation Operations Center (TOC) Operators- Monitor and manage traffic in real-time.

  Duties include:

  • Watching live traffic feeds
  • Dispatching emergency services
  • Coordinating with public safety teams
  • Sending alerts to keep the public informed
  • Must be flexible for shift including overnights and for extended time
