Arlington Public Schools
At the Arlington County Sheriff’s Office, our responsibility to public safety reaches far beyond our facility. It includes preparing individuals in our custody to successfully transition back into the community and that work is only possible through strong partnerships.
Reentry is not a single event; it is a process. When individuals have access to education, workforce training, behavioral health support, mentorship, and positive community connections, they are better equipped to build stable, productive lives after release. These efforts strengthen families, support local employers, and contribute to a safer Arlington for everyone.
Our volunteers and partner organizations play a vital role in this mission. From teaching classes and facilitating support groups to providing career pathways and faith-based services, community partners help create meaningful opportunities for growth and accountability.
If you are interested in bringing a program, service, or new idea into our facility, proposals are reviewed through a structured process to ensure alignment with our mission and security standards.
