A permit is required to vend, peddle or canvass in Arlington County. This permit is issued annually by the Licensing Office of the Police Department. Once you fill out the application form below, review the vendor permit guidelines(PDF, 262KB) and proceed to 'Step 1'.

- All permits expire on February 28 of each year.
- Permit applications are processed on Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. You must appear in person.
- The cost is $20 for the permit and $10 for fingerprinting (new applicants only). The Arlington County Sheriff's Office begins fingerprinting at 12:30 p.m.
