Kids Community Police Academy

Formerly known as ACPD’s Summer Safety Patrol Camp, this five-day program has been thoughtfully reimagined to empower rising Arlington 5th graders with the skills, confidence and knowledge they need to stay safe and make positive choices. Designed to be both educational and fun, the camp blends hands-on learning with engaging activities in a supportive, encouraging environment.

Participants will form positive, meaningful connections with law enforcement role models as they meet officers and special guests from across the police department. Each day features a variety of interactive group activities, creative crafts and memorable experiences—including a fun pool day—to keep participants engaged and excited to learn.

This camp offers a unique opportunity for participants to grow, learn and have fun while gaining tools that will serve them well at home, at school and in their community.

Camp Fee

The cost of each session is $50.00 per student. Arlington County does not want fees or language to be a barrier for residents to participate in camps. To request a reduction in fees, contact the school-based patrol sponsor directly or the school administrator where your child is enrolled as a student.
