Activity & Inclusion Support

We are seeking to hire temporary Summer Camp Counselors to support campers with disabilities, ages 3-21, this summer.

These positions play a key role in supporting camper needs, leading activities, assisting with participation, and helping create engaging, developmentally appropriate experiences for all participants.

Staff must commit to our general core camp dates of June 22 - August 14. Training will begin in mid to late May through June, which includes virtual online courses, in-person trainings during weekday evenings and select Saturdays. Several positions are available, and hours vary.

Inclusion Support

Inclusion support services help campers with disabilities fully participate in camp activities. This includes providing individualized assistance, adapting activities, encouraging positive behaviors, and collaborating with staff to create an inclusive and engaging environment for all participants. We're hiring Inclusion support positions for June 22 - August 14th and camp hours may vary.

Adapted Camps

Engaging campers ages 6-21 with disabilities; adapted summer camps offer modified activities, specialized support, and an inclusive environment. These camps provide engaging experiences like arts, sports, swimming, and sensory activities while ensuring accessibility and individualized assistance for each participant. Adapted camps run from June 29 - August 14 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Inclusion support opportunities for any TR staff may be available during the additional weeks of camp August 17 – August 28. If you are interested and available to work these extra weeks, please indicate this in Question 8 of the supplemental questionnaire.
