Exploring Book Arts

Guided by book artist Sushmita Mazumdar, learn techniques to create three types of handmade books. Use the books you create as a place for your writing, paintings, photos, or ephemera. In December, make an accordion book with hard covers. In January, learn to make a one-sheet sketchbook using pamphlet stitch. In February, we end the series by making a Japanese stab-bound book. Materials will be provided.
