Hiking the Arlington Line: Nature & History
Adults. The Arlington Line fortifications were constructed by the Union Army for the defense of Washington. We'll hike the northern end of the line, From Fort C.F. Smith to Fort Bennett Park and back, exploring the area's natural and historic resources along the way. This is a three-mile loop-hike on sidewalk and park trails. For information: 703-228-4775.
