A contractor will conduct invasive plant treatments within the forested sections of the park for 2-3 weeks between Dec. 1-30.There will be some cutting/treating of vegetation (dropping to the ground) and aquatic labeled herbicide use targeting only non-native plant species.All treatment products used as water/soil/wildlife safe.
This passive park features both paths and nature trails, access to Custis Trail, open green space, a kiosk and a picnic table.
