Program Description

Project Family helps parents and caregivers of children ages 0 to 5 build strong relationships and support their child's healthy development.

In a fun, play-based group setting, families participate in music, reading, and hands-on activities that promote learning, social skills, and early childhood development. Parents and caregivers learn practical strategies they can use at home while connecting with other families and building a support network.

Classes are free for people living in Arlington County. Classes are taught in English. Children must attend with a parent or legal guardian.

Schedule

Classes meet twice a week for 7 weeks. Families will have a chance to attend one class in Block A and one class in Block B per week.

Note: This program requires active caregiver-child participation. Nannies and babysitters are not eligible. Project Family is designed to support parents and guardians in directly engaging with their child’s social-emotional development.
