County Board Capital Improvement Plan Work Session

The County Board will hold a series of work sessions on the following dates and times in the County Board Room, at 2100 Clarendon Boulevard, Suite 307, Arlington, VA 22201, for the purpose of discussing the Proposed 2027 - 2036 Capital Improvement Plan.

Information on the FY2027 - FY2036 Proposed CIP is available here. The public is welcome to attend the work session in person or view via live stream on the County's website and on local cable stations on Comcast 25 & 1073 and Verizon FiOS 39 & 40. Public testimony is not accepted at work sessions.  Members of the public may provide feedback on the proposed Capital Improvement Plan at Open Door Mondays, or in writing at countyboard@arlingtonva.us.  Archived video of each work session and presentation will be available on our website.

At the May County Board Meeting, the County Manager provided an overview of the FY2027 - 2036 Proposed Capital Improvement Plan to the County Board. More information about the Manager's proposed CIP is available here. The County Board will hold work sessions with most County agencies and advisory commissions to discuss the Manager's recommendations. No final decisions will be made until the County Board adopts the CIP in July 2026.
